Lace DIY Ideas: Old Short Refreshing in 10 minutes

Hello Zeng’s Lace fans,

Last week we did the white piece GL-36 with the short blue jean was a great turn out.

Today we will use beautiful piece CL000802 with different short in fuchsia color. The lace we use today will will be a lot narrower than the one we used last week. Because the short itself is very petite, so we choose this lace to match the style.

Material:

  1. A pair of old jean short.
  2. Lace trim, 2 yards. I'm using CL000802 from zengslace.com. You can buy the lace from here.

Step 1: Wash and Iron the short and lace.

Step 2: Pin the lace on the trousers and the pockets. Because the edge is irregular, I choose to pin it first and cut the lace accordingly.

Step 4: Let’s sew! The pockets can be a little tricky to sew. I actually think hand-sewing might be easier in this case.

Step 5: Pin and sew the lace on the trousers as well. Cut the extra threads, it’s done!
